The Sociedad Protectora de Animales de Villarrica (SPAV) is a non-profit civil society organization dedicated to the protection, defense, and promotion of animal welfare.
We were created to respond to the growing need to assist animals facing abandonment, abuse, or danger, promoting concrete actions that encourage responsible coexistence between people and animals.
Our organization is made up of committed volunteers, professionals, supporters, and citizens who share the conviction that respect for animals is a fundamental value for building a more ethical, caring, and responsible society.
Since our beginnings, we have worked consistently in animal rescue, recovery, and responsible adoption, while also developing educational programs and awareness campaigns to prevent abandonment, encourage sterilization, and promote responsible pet guardianship.
